There used to be tiers to compare. Now there's one thing on the menu: a single 1-on-1 session with the tutor you choose. Book one, book twenty — nothing renews and nothing is charged up front.

Always one-on-one

No group sessions, no recorded lessons, no bots. It's your student and one tutor on a video call for the full hour, working on whatever they walked in with.

Pay after the lesson, not before

Apple Pay, Zelle or Venmo to your tutor's number once you're done. We send a screenshot to your email as a receipt so you know it landed.

Rates are confirmed at your free demo. One flat hourly rate, paid per session — no deposits, no packages, and nothing charged until a lesson actually happens.

What we teach

Four subjects, taught properly.

We'd rather do a few things well than list everything. Every subject here runs kindergarten through 10th grade.

Math

Arithmetic through Algebra II and Geometry — plus the homework that's due tomorrow. We work the problem set together, then take one apart to make sure it stuck.

K – 10th grade

English

Reading comprehension, grammar, and essays — thesis to final draft. We mark up the actual paper your student is writing rather than a practice one.

Science

Biology and Chemistry — cell structure and genetics through stoichiometry and equilibrium. Lab reports and unit tests welcome.

Chinese and Japanese — characters, grammar, listening and speaking practice with someone who'll actually let you talk.

Our level

We don't teach AP. We're proficient at that level.

To be exact about it: AP courses are not something we offer, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we're telling you is where our own ceiling sits. We've worked through material at the AP level ourselves — which means a K–10 syllabus sits comfortably inside what we already know, not at the edge of it.

Nothing catches us out

There's no question inside a K–10 course that lands outside what we've studied. We're not looking it up between sessions and hoping you don't notice.

"But why does that work?" gets a real answer

The question that usually ends a homework session is the one we like most, because we can follow it up a few levels instead of saying that's just the rule.

We've already sat in the seat your student is walking toward. So we teach the version that still holds up in two years, not the shortcut that falls apart in Algebra II.

Before you book

  • Check the calendar first, then enter the same date and time on the form.
  • Use an email you actually check — that's where the confirmation and receipt go.
  • Tell us what's actually hard in the comments box. It saves the first ten minutes.
  • Need a time outside these hours? Text us and we'll see what we can do.
